Woohoo!

I built my very own server today!! I am so proud of me. I am in the coolest class. It is a class on internet security where we learn to secure a net work with a variety of things from servers to Pix firewalls. The coolest part is Half the group will set up security and the other half gets to try and figure out how to get by the security that is set up lol.....

Flag burning is constitiutional -Yes!

In my humble opinion that its fine and it is a persons constitutional right for a person to set fire to an American Flag.

Only if they are wrapped in it before they douse it with fuel and light it.. That is my opinion.

I went ATVing this weekend OOOh I had ever so much fun. I want to buy one of those machines for my self they sell the used ones from the tour company for $2500.00.
They cost double that new oh I don't know it would be ever so much fun. Could this be a mid Life Crisis?? hmnnn.................

Happy Forth of July

I am proud to be an American. To belong to a Country that allows us religious freedom to worship the way we choose. That allows me to voice my opinion and view point. And of course I love all the fireworks and sparklies.

ARGgggggggggghhhhh!!! Getting old

I am ranting a raving and mostly whining. I am getting old I tell you old. My b_ Day is Friday.

I spent an entire weekend at home alone at least most of it. Nobody was able to hang with me I was feeling dissed even my cat was snubbing me.

Stooopid allergies. I get soooooo crabby when I don;t feel well. I did create a couple of great test pictures. A got to try out canvas and paint. I have always wanted to try.

not a complete loss my nephews & nieces bought me a 10 gallon fish tank all I need is rocks decorations and fish.

I have food around some where from my water garden bucket that has guppies from the ditch out in the cane fields and a water lily of my veri own. I have so many unfinished projects.

In my old age I am becoming a bit of the renassenace man/person. Honestly most of my life I was told that if I wanted to get a head in life is to get an education not be artistic. Mys sister use to tell me I was the one with all the talent. and I would say what you are the one that should have gone to Juliards??? I am the Brainy one the one that can't get a date on Saturday night hellooo? ( not that I ever really tried to get a date).

I am even working on (If I can get control of the allergys) an CD of songs that I wrote. I play Ukulele & a little guitar. But I have never had any formal training. lol I have perfomed in a "follow me no, no! put your fingers here!" kind of method. I can sort of read music NOT! I play chords" some times!".

I am beging to feel old again I guess it is because my Birthday is Friday you know the whole midlife crises thingy.

I got told by my counselor at school that I need to get my masters degree already because I have more than a masters degree of credits almost enough for a phd but not enough in any specific program to get me either lol.... I am into computer and have just completed traing in CCNP I am not cisco certified yet but when I get the nerve up to take the test..........

Aw never mind I am a total loss and I am sure you all have better things to do then listen to the rants of an exentric old biddy like me....................

Had a yummy dinner and got a rose from the Nieces and Nephews.

Nice day No rain sun was out for a change!!

I am almost done being sick!! As soon as my voice is back I will reschedule my studio time I had to cancel it because I got sick and lost my voice what is up with that???

Not having a voice and being portugese is very stressful lol...............

But it is getting better...............

I did it again??

I think I just joined Kauai Chorale & a new Hula Halau. This is the first time ever I am in all the years I have been involved in hula that I will have a male Kumu hula. I it will be an interesting experiance changing the masculine motions of male and turn it into the way a female dances. I am exicted and wondering with that and school if I will be able to handle the load I will be busy Monday with the Chorale, Tuesday & Thursday at school Friday & Sundays with hula So my free day will be saturday and Wednesday night. I guess if it gets too busy I can drop out of somthing. Just to keep my self busy during this time of transition.

Whoa!!!

We just had a wild rainstorm. It lasted only about 1/2 hour. It was a super cell it was moving about 40 miles an hour, and it will probably pass over the whole island in like 2 hours. The weather service said there could be hail and high winds even tornados. So far there was no hail or tornados when it passed over our house. I hope it doesn’t the houses here probably couldn't handle it. There was bolt-lightening hitting the mountain, normally here in Hawaii bolt lighting hits the ocean not the land.

Check out these newspapers pictures. We had to go and open a red cross shelter in Waimea because of the flooding.

After we closed the shelter I went and had someone work on the houses plumbing, he fixed a broken valve under my kitchen sink. He also fixed the broken window in the bedroom and even did the dry wall under the window and he showd me how to do the rest my self.

I hope I can save the cabinet under the sink other wise I may need to get some cabinet work done.

Then after that I went to dinner at a friends house. It has been a wild and crazy day but productive and good.

I really feel the new year is going to be exciting and filled with blessing.

Got to do the prayer for dinner did it in Hawaiian and English got thanked profusely for doing such a nice prayer.
